Directions
and Map to Clinic
(BELOW THE
MAP ARE PHOTOS OF DRIVING TO NOGALES, WHERE TO PARK,
AND WALKING TO OUR CLINIC)
Here is a map to our clinic (below). Notice that we have two
locations; a new clinic (open soon) right after you cross the
border
on the walking mall
(see the red arrow pointing to the location);
and the other about 2 blocks south. You can call the main
location and ask the receptionist, Dalila, if she will call the van to pick you up and take you to
the main clinic. There is a brick walking street just to the
left of the red arrow, where no cars can drive.
The shuttle van will pick you up at the end of the very short
brick walking street towards the main clinic on avenue “Lopez
Mateos,” where it intersects with Campillo Street. Notice that
the Catholic Church is on Avenue Lopez Mateos, where it
intersects with Ochoa Street.
You can park in the liquor store parking lot (UETA) right next
to the Greyhound Bus Terminal, or you can park in the Burger
King parking lot across the street, both at a cost of $4.00 U.S.
dollars. Remember that you can have your parking fee refunded
at either of the Dental Laser Clinics, so bring the receipt with
you to the clinic. When you drive to Nogales, Arizona south
from Tucson or further north in Phoenix, you must use I-19 which
will take you to the U.S./Mexico border. You will see many off
ramps once in Nogales, Arizona, on your way to the border, but
continue past them on I-19 right to the Burger King Restaurant
on your left, or the UETA parking lot on your right, directly
across the street from Burger King.
SENIOR CITIZENS can walk to the
head of the line of people waiting to enter the United States
from Mexico through the rotating pole doors. Don’t
forget your passport, because now while a driver’s
license may work once, the U.S. Border Patrol agent will inform
you that only a U.S. passport will allow entry into the United
States.

When
you drive to our clinic in Nogales, Sonora, Mexico, and need a
visual guide of the location of parking in Nogales, Arizona, and the
walking route across the border and to our clinic, we have provided
here multiple landmarks to make your journey easier. Below you will
see those landmarks in picture form showing the street as you come
into Nogales, Arizona, going across the border into Nogales, Mexico,
a few pictures of our new clinic under construction (only 75 feet
from the U.S. Border in Nogales, Sonora), where our shuttle van will
pick you up to take you to our existing clinic, and some that show
the actual walking route to the existing clinic. |

into Nogales, Arizona. Do not take the exit for ramp 1A.

Picture 2: this picture shows the upcoming parking lots on
the right side of the road. Drive just past the sign showing the
“left arrow” in the picture to the Ueta Duty Fee Liquor Store
parking lot, which is the last building in the picture on the left,
shown with pictures of people in a painted advertisement on the Ueta
building. The pink and gray round building is just to the right of
this Ueta liquor store building.

Picture 3: shows the Ueta parking lot and the parking road
where Greyhound busses can park between the Greyhound Bus Depot on
the left, and the Ueta Building on the right.

Picture 4: shows the front of the Ueta Duty Fee Liquor Store
on the street across from the ramp down to the U.S.-Mexican border
crossing shown in picture 5.

crosses into Mexico.

Picture 6: shows the U.S. Border exit doors that you will
pass through as you come back into Nogales, Arizona from Nogales,
Mexico, and the red barricade that directs you toward the entry into
Mexico.
|
 |
Picture 7: shows the orange directional barricade with the
pipe turning doors into Mexico (very rear of photo)—that do not
allow you to change your mind once you enter them. There are male
and female restrooms on the right just before you pass into Mexico.

Picture 8: shows a close up picture of a woman going
through the turning pipe doors into Nogales, Mexico.

Picture 9: shows the button you will push as you officially
enter into Mexico; if you get a red light, you must stop briefly so
Mexican border agents can check your packages for taxable products,
but not duty free liquor from Ueta.

Picture 10: shows a picture of our new
clinic—under construction—with a white plywood barrier in place to
keep people out of harm’s way during the remodeling and rebuilding
of the interior of the clinic due to open in May, 2011. Notice the
“farmacias benavides” to the right of the new clinic location?
|
 |
Picture 11: shows the old lime and orange colors that were
painted on the front of the old building, with the white plywood
barrier in place. This is the walking street where you will see
police on bicycles patrolling the area. Notice that behind the top
of the old orange and lime building front there is nothing but open
space where floor two and the roof of the new building will be
built.

 |
Picture 12: shows the temporary location of one of our
receptionists, only 20 feet from the new clinic location, who is on
duty from 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. Monday through Friday. She can
all for the shuttle van to take you to our existing clinic or you
can call using your own cell phone (520-223-4063) when you cross the
border.
|
 |
Picture 13: shows where the current shuttle van will pick
you up and take you to the existing clinic. In the picture, there
is a tan jeep parked in the shuttle van pickup location in front of
and below the walkway over the train tracks.

 |
Picture 14: shows the Catholic Church (twin tan brick towers
with tree in front) that you will pass by if you walk to the
existing clinic. Notice the “CASA DE CAMBIO” sign on the building
in front of the church? The actual location of the existing
clinic is below the roof signboard with blue top and bottom
bands in the rear of this picture—only 1.5 blocks from the
church.
|
 |
Picture 15: shows the roof signboard with blue top and
bottom bands mentioned in the previous picture, together with our
small “Dental Laser” sign on the roof of our building in yellow with
blue lettering—Dental Laser.
|
 |
Picture 16: shows our clinic sign—Dental Laser Nogales—in
the shuttered window and the two doors into our existing clinic.

Hopefully, these pictures have provided you with sufficient visual
information to find our new clinic, the location of the shuttle van
pickup location, together with landmarks should you decide to walk
to our OLD clinic—four blocks from the border.
