ZOOM Laser Whitening

The zoom chair side whitening system is a scientifically advanced tooth whitening procedure for people looking for immediate results.  First, lips and gums are covered then the ZOOM proprietary whitening gel is applied, followed by the ZOOM Lamp.

Both the gel and the special lamp work together to gently penetrate your teeth, breaking up stains and discoloration.

Yellow staining from aging, tobacco, dark cola, tea, coffee, and red wine shows the greatest whitening.

We recommend twice daily brushing, flossing, and occasional touchups with ZOOM Weekender, DayWhite ACP or NiteWhite ACP gel.24

Labial Frenectomy

The labial frenulum often attaches to the center of the upper lip and between the upper two front teeth. This can cause a large gap and gum recession by pulling the gums off of the bone. A labial frenectomy removes the labial frenulum. Orthodontic patients often have this procedure done to assist with closing a front tooth gap. When a denture patient's lips move, the frenulum pulls and loosens the denture which can be quite upsetting. This surgery is often done to help dentures fit better.25

The middle photo displays the labial fold after the frenum was incised (note the diamond-shaped wound). The third photo displays the wound after suturing of the incision which was completed.

Crown Lengthening

Crown lengthening is a surgical procedure performed by a dentist to expose a greater amount of tooth structure for the purpose of subsequently restoring the tooth prosthetically.[1] This is done by incising the gingival tissue around a tooth and, after temporarily displacing the soft tissue, predictably removing a given height of alveolar bone from the circumference of the tooth or teeth being operated on. While many general dentists perform this procedure, they frequently refer such cases to periodontists.26

Gingivectomy

A gingivectomy is a periodontal surgical procedure which includes the removal of gingival tissue in order to achieve a more aesthetic appearance and/or functional contour. Gingivectomies are frequently performed using electrosurgery to cauterize away the undesired gum tissue.27
